2023 - 2024
01. The Context
Operating at the intersection of local implementation and international funding, I serve as the primary communications link between Acción Andina and Global Forest Generation (GFG) in the US. This role requires high-level diplomacy to align 15+ local partners across 5 countries with global institutional goals.
02. The Challenge
Managing 'donor-ready' communication involves more than storytelling; it requires financial literacy and crisis management. From requesting communication funds to Finance to solving operational failures where partners lack the capacity to meet strict donor visibility deadlines.
03. The Solution
Financial & Donor Liaison: I coordinate directly with GFG’s Communications Director and Finance Department to secure funding for regional campaigns. I act as the bridge with the Partnerships team to translate donor needs into actionable field requirements.
Crisis Management & Operational Support: When partners face technical or operational gaps—such as fire-damaged crops or missed deadlines—I step in to lead the recovery. This includes hands-on design of banners and press materials to ensure donor commitments are met without compromise.
Global Campaign Strategy: Developed and supervised the implementation of annual and thematic communication plans (Earth Day, International Day of Forests). I created standardized guidelines to ensure all 15 partners deliver a unified, professional brand voice.
Institutional Diplomacy & Crisis Resolution
Ensuring brand consistency and financial transparency across 15+ international partners.
Budget Management: Direct coordination with GFG Finance
Crisis Response: Rapid production for donor compliance
