01. The Context
Acción Andina reached a historical milestone by winning the UN Flagship and the Earthshot Prize. This required a world-class communications strategy to manage high-stakes international PR while maintaining authentic, field-level storytelling across five South American nations.
02. The Challenge
The challenge was twofold: coordinating a $15,000 PR campaign with external agencies while simultaneously producing and scripting field content. I had to ensure that the voice of indigenous leaders and women in conservation was amplified at the G20, UN, and other global forums.
03. The Solution
PR & Agency Leadership: I directed a $15K PR campaign, developing "tropicalized" press releases for regional contexts and preparing local partners as spokespeople for international media.
Global Launch Coordination: Led the synchronized release of multimedia content for the UN Flagship and Earthshot Prize, ensuring real-time distribution across partner channels and global organizations like the UN and G20.
Hybrid Creative Direction: I balanced high-end documentary direction (managing external crews and scripts) with "Solo" cinematography using my Sony A7C II kit to capture intimate portraits and wildlife in remote environments.
